The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is a team of dozens of artists, screen printers, art technicians, logistics professionals, embroiderers, and support staff, all operating out of Ann Arbor, Michigan, about 40 miles west of Detroit. We take great pride in designing, printing, and embroidering the majority of our products entirely in our local factory.

Our story began as a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. Today, we strive to create unique, high-quality apparel that allows people to express themselves and strike up conversations with their neighbors.

We also use top-of-the-line M&R printing presses and ovens, made in Illinois, to ensure precision, speed, and efficiency in our production process. This allows us to create high-quality products at a lower cost, which we pass on to you.

Our in-house apprenticeship and educational programs result in screen printing experts who thoroughly understand the interplay between ink chemistry, curing heat, and apparel fibers. This attention to detail helps us avoid common issues like crooked prints, faded inks, or scratchy fabrics.
